Baptism The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated on the fourth Sunday of the month at 11:30 AM Mass. Please contact the parish office to make arrangements. At least one parent must be an active registered parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Caramel parish for a minimum of six months. Godparents (one male and one female) must be active registered members of a Church (with at least one being Catholic). Parents must participate in a Baptismal Preparation Session. Baptisms are not celebrated during Lent, except in danger of death.
Marriage The Sacrament of Marriage is celebrated on Saturdays (beginning in 2013 – all weddings will be at 1:00 PM). At least one person must be an active registered parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish. Please contact the parish office at least six months prior to a desired date for the wedding to being making arrangements. Weddings are not celebrated during Lent.
First Eucharist and First Reconciliation These sacraments are normally celebrated in the second grade. Classes and preparations are directed by the Parish Coordinator of Religious Education
Confirmation This sacrament is normally celebrated in the eighth grade. Classes and preparations are directed by the Parish Coordinator of Religious Education.
Anointing of the Sick Please contact the parish office to make arrangements to receive the sacrament.
Holy Orders / Religious Life If you are hearing God’s call to a vocation of service in the Church, please speak to the parish pastor or the Diocesan Office of Vocations at 330-744-8451. Mass of Christian Burial In the event of a death, please contact your preferred Funeral Home first. They in turn will contact the parish office to begin making the necessary arrangements. Funerals are celebrated at 10:00 AM.
